Step into this Kitschy, Purple, Grey and Black Parisian restaurant on Bridge Street and you'll get a very good croissant or crepe. It was so pleasant to be greeted with a smile and listen to the staff laughing and enjoying each other's company while we waited for our meals. Coming from Montreal, we know great food. I ordered the Gourmet Croissant but the chef had difficulty substituting an over easy instead of scrambled request. The egg and bacon were served on the side and I had to build my own sandwich. Once prepared I was delighted to enjoy a fluffy and soft croissant filled with melted cheese, a perfectly cooked egg and crispy bacon. My companions ordered the Nutella and Banana crepe, which could have benefitted from excluding the extra chocolate sauce added on top of the Nutella. It was too sweet. My child enjoyed her sweet crepe with ham and cheese, but really loved the side of potatoes that were flavourful and crispy. Overall I would recommend Island Creperie as a breakfast choice on the island.

Be sure to take a stroll along Bradenton Beach, Bridge Street and do some shopping in the cute little island shops. End your stroll at the Bridge Street Pier which boasts some of the best photographic views on the bay side.
